Deseret Book to Give Hagoth a Try!!

Deseret Book has committed to give Hagoth a try in their stores!! So, Hagoth will be available in a select number of stores (which ones is still unknown) very soon. This is super exciting news for me (and my family of course)! Maybe one day LDS/Mormon themed games will be more widely available and perhaps become a little more like the mainstream board game scene.

Here's to hoping and acting to make it happen!!

And don't forget to check out the release event down in Salt Lake City next weekend (May 8th) at Game Night Games. Come learn to play the game and if you decide to buy you'll get a 10% discount!

Wow! Congrats! I truly hope you get all the sales and fame and fortune that the game deserves. It's a good one, and I hope it goes far!

Thanks Mark
I'm hoping the same thing. I just want there to be more LDS themed games out there for people to enjoy. Maybe this can be a sort of catalyst for such a thing to happen. We'll see

This is amazing news! I couldn't be happier for you! Can you give us any details? Was the deal brokered by MAYDAY, or did you drop into the DESERET offices yourself? We want to hear the story!

Well, I hate to bust any bubbles here, but there really isn't much of a story. Once Seth, from Mayday, got a copy of the game, he sent it to Deseret Book. They looked it over and said they'd like to try it on a trial basis. Seth informed me that they are going to take 72 copies. We don't know how many stores they'll be found in or anything like that. All we know is that if they sell well, then Deseret Book will order more. So, let everyone know that they are available in Deseret Book.

On a similar note, this Thursday between 9 and 9:30 am Mike from Game Night Games will be on KJZZ tv and will have a copy of Hagoth. Also, on Friday, the 7th, there will be an article in the Deseret News about Hagoth, and on the 8th the release event will happen from noon to four at Game Night Games in Salt Lake City. Just a quick update about all that.

I could have sworn he said there wasn't much of a story there.... ;-) Sure sounded like a great story to me! Looks like you've achieved the breakthrough we've been talking about for the last year- and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I expect to see pictures of all the Big Events! Congrats!
